Mat is a singer, actor and songwriter best known for his performance as Barry Mann in Beautiful:The Carole King Musical which won him a 2018 Helpmann Award.

He most recently played Tommy in The Who’s Tommy with Victorian Opera, Tobias in Sweeney Todd (State Opera of South Australia) and Mark Cohen in RENT (SOH/Sugary Rum prod). In 2019 he toured with Lea Salonga on her Australian tour and recently released his debut self titled EP which reached No. 1 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts.

Some other credits include A Little Night Music (Victorian Opera), Lazarus (The Production Company), Hugh Jackman Australian Tour BV’s & Torch Song Trilogy (Darlinghurst Theatre Company).
