Cessalee Stovall

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant

Cessalee Stovall is the founder and director of Stage A Change and an IDC (Intimacy Directors and Coordinators) certified Intimacy Professional for stage, tv, and live performing arts. She’s an artist, activist and advocate who connects her theatre and performance practice, training as an educator, lived experience as a Black woman, and passion for engagement through the arts to elevate and recognise historically excluded or marginalised artists in our performing arts industry.

With a degree in theatre from Florida State University, certificates in diversity and inclusion from Purdue University and Cornell University, a certificate in Arts Leadership from University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Mental Health First Aid certification, she is uniquely qualified to support diversity, equity, inclusion, and mental health in the performing arts sector.
