Casting

The Producers wish to acknowledge a deep commitment to representative, inclusive and conscious casting on this production as follows. We endeavour to cast all characters whose identity is mentioned in the story as authentically as possible. This is a true story and due to the racial/cultural/historical/political climate of the time and the sensitive nature of the material please note the specificity of cultural backgrounds for each character.

When identity is not crucial to the story, we will consider all people who can support the storytelling necessary and not be limited by stereotypes or societal expectations. We encourage artists to acknowledge their identity and self within the character and their personal and professional boundaries.

We welcome auditionees from all religious, sexual and gender identities or expression, political views, genetics, disability, neurodiverse backgrounds and age to audition.
